About
Hi, I’m Gregg!
I started my investing journey nearly a decade ago when I was an 18-year-old in college. The first few years were rough to say the least. Like many young investors, I chased high returns without truly understanding what I was investing in. If you’re in the same boat—don’t worry, I’ve been there!
When I got my first full-time job as an engineer, I realized I couldn’t keep gambling my salary on risky investments if I wanted to have any shot at real financial freedom. I also realized that living frugally and saving my money would make a massive difference down the road.
That’s when I shifted my approach. I started focusing on long-term wealth-building: saving as much as possible, keeping most of my money in low-risk index funds, and only putting a small part into riskier investments.
One of the main reasons I started this blog is because I see so many of my friends, who are new to investing, making the same mistakes I did. They chase quick returns without really understanding the basics, and it usually doesn’t end well. A lot of them also end up spending their hard-earned money on big purchases without thinking about the future.
My hope with this blog, is to help others make smarter financial decisions, build wealth, and secure a more stable financial future.
